I made this piece using the raw material of a gazebo frame I found on the street garnished with the word "FREE". The frame's thin walls inspired me to develop this chain-like profile by crushing it in a custom vice jig. 

The sculpture was designed to rust over time, minus the stainless steel bearing and cable, which allows the sphere to continue spinning freely as the wind influences it.
